The Saving Silver,
Man-project !
A project created for the sole purpose of encouraging philanthropic endeavors.
The Saving Silver, Man-project has been in development for nearly fifteen years. The purpose of the project is to encourage and reward the philanthropic and humanitarian works of others. With the printing of each new book from Houston Home Staging Publications an honor roll will be created. Each new book will be launched with an extremely limited printing of signed and numbered books. These unique books will be presented (with certificates of authentication) to those whose philanthropic or humanitarian works have attempted or achieved the enrichment and enhancement of the human experience.
This year Houston Home Staging Publications is pleased to announce the limited edition printing of the of the eighty-four page book entitled :
Handsome men, beautiful women and other decorative motifs in Victorian American silver plate!
Twenty five copies of this book will be printed. Each of these books will be signed, numbered, and dedicated to a specific individual. These individuals will then be memorialized on an honor roll to be published on The Saving Silver, Man-project blog. The honor roll will boast the actual copy number that has been dedicated to the honoree along with a very brief description of the honorees philanthropic and humanitarian interests.
Those wishing modesty may request that only their initials appear on the honor roll, or that some form of anonymity preserve their privacy.
The Saving Silver, Man-project is not a charity. No money will be requested or collected. If you wish to reserve a particular copy of the limited edition book, and your place on the honor roll, just send your philanthropic intentions or humanitarian works to TScanlon6480@sbcglobal.net (Only one copy per person or household - please.)
For those wishing to reserve copies numbered 1 thru 5,

About this years book:
Handsome men, beautiful women and other decorative motifs in Victorian American silver plate!
Houston based silver collector Thomas Scanlon curated his personal collection of silver plated goods
and then secured the services of well known photographer
Debi Meehan Beauregard.
Scanlon has printed several smaller versions of Beauregard's incredible photography of his collection, with the promise that a more fully-flushed version with informative text was in development. This year, the muse was upon Scanlon and the result is the beautiful book that is now being printed. Many of the photographs have never before been seen by the public. Some of the photos were used in this short video entitled:
Another shade of grey.........
This year's publication will be available for delivery sometime in March.
We hope our little gift encourages your philanthropic endeavors!
